Nadeem Abassi and Aaslam Nazarali founded Aria Developers in 2016. The firm has since developed eleven apartment communities across the Houston area, approximately two thousand units, along with two retail centers and an office condominium park.
Aria has sold one property. It continues to own and operate the rest.
The multifamily portfolio is managed in-house through Graywood Properties. Aria develops in the greater Houston market and is continuing to evaluate sites for new developments.
Projects are funded internally, not through syndicated investor capital.
Aria builds and buys to hold — not to flip or exit on a set timeline.
Lenders, brokers, and residents deal directly with the people who own the assets.
Aria's partners founded Graywood Properties in 2019 to manage the firm's multifamily portfolio. Graywood manages every apartment community Aria has developed, and thirty-nine people work across the two companies — property management, leasing, maintenance, and corporate staff.
In-house property management was an intentional part of Aria's growth strategy. Aria holds its properties long term, and managing them directly allows close oversight of operations and of the condition of each property.
Nadeem Abassi co-founded Aria Developers in 2016 and leads the firm's financing and capital. He structures the debt for each project, from construction financing through permanent financing, and manages Aria's lender relationships. He spent close to two decades building convenience stores and working in the automotive industry before entering real estate development.
Aaslam Nazarali co-founded Aria Developers in 2016 and leads the firm's operations. Through Graywood Properties, he oversees the operating budgets, leasing, and performance of the multifamily portfolio. He previously worked in the jewelry retail and wholesale business.
Neha handles acquisitions for Aria Developers. Title and scope to be confirmed.
